Acordar Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply to your use of Acordar, an iOS alarm and wake-up challenge app provided by Sebastian Gralikowski ("we", "us", or "our").

By downloading or using Acordar, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

App Store Terms

If you download Acordar from the Apple App Store, your use of the app is also subject to Apple's App Store terms and Apple's standard end-user license agreement, unless we provide a custom license agreement through App Store Connect.

What Acordar Does

Acordar lets you create native iOS alarms and pair them with short wake-up challenges, currently push-ups or squats. The app can track local wake attempts, challenge completion, and streak history.

Acordar is an accountability tool. It does not guarantee that you will wake up, complete a challenge, keep a streak, or hear every alarm.

Safety

Acordar includes physical movement challenges. You are responsible for deciding whether a challenge is safe for you.

Do not use Acordar's movement challenges if you cannot do them safely. Stop immediately if you feel pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, or any other concerning symptom. Acordar is not medical advice, fitness coaching, physical therapy, or a medical device.

Alarm And Device Limitations

Acordar depends on iOS, AlarmKit, your device, and your settings. Alarms, notifications, sounds, app launches, and challenge flows may be affected by system permissions, Focus modes, volume, battery state, device state, iOS behavior, Apple service limitations, or other factors outside our control.

You should not rely on Acordar for emergencies, medication reminders, safety-critical events, or any situation where a missed alarm could cause harm.

Camera Challenge Limitations

Acordar uses the camera and on-device pose detection to count movement. Challenge counting may be inaccurate or unavailable because of lighting, framing, clothing, camera placement, multiple people in view, device performance, or other environmental factors.

The app does not save photos or videos, and camera access is used only to support the active challenge.

Your Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use Acordar only in a safe environment.
• Choose challenge targets that are reasonable for your ability.
• Keep your device charged and configured so alarms can work.
• Keep required permissions enabled if you want alarm and camera features to work.
• Use the app only for lawful purposes.

Local Data

Acordar stores alarm settings, wake attempts, challenge metadata, streaks, and local preferences on your device. You can delete local app data from the Settings screen by using "Delete all data."

No Accounts Or Payments In Current Version

The current version of Acordar does not require an account, does not include subscriptions, and does not include in-app purchases. If accounts, paid features, or subscriptions are added later, these Terms should be updated before release.

Intellectual Property

Acordar, including its design, name, app icon, code, and content, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms give you permission to use the app for personal use only. They do not transfer ownership of the app or its content to you.

Changes Or Discontinuation

We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue Acordar or parts of the app at any time. We may also update these Terms when the app or legal requirements change. Continued use of Acordar after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

Disclaimer

Acordar is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, and uninterrupted operation.

Limitation Of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, missed alarms, failed challenges, injury from unsafe use, or other losses related to your use of or inability to use Acordar.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers or limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

Termination

You may stop using Acordar at any time. We may suspend or terminate your right to use the app if you violate these Terms or use the app in a way that creates legal, security, or operational risk.
