Acordar Privacy Policy

Acordar is provided by Sebastian Gralikowski ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how Acordar handles information when you use the iOS app.

Summary

Acordar is designed as a local-first alarm and wake-up challenge app. The current app does not require an account, does not use ads, does not use analytics SDKs, does not use third-party crash reporting SDKs, and does not send your alarm, camera, challenge, streak, or history data to our servers.

Information Stored On Your Device

Acordar stores the following app data locally on your device:

This data is stored using Apple's local device storage APIs. It remains on your device unless you delete it, uninstall the app, or your device backup settings copy app data into backups managed by Apple.

Camera And Pose Processing

Acordar asks for camera permission so it can count push-ups or squats during a wake-up challenge. Camera frames are processed on device using Apple's camera and Vision frameworks.

Acordar does not save or upload:

Pose information is used during the active challenge to count movement. The app stores only challenge metadata, such as challenge type, target reps, completed reps, status, and timestamps.

Alarm Permission

Acordar asks for AlarmKit permission so it can schedule native iOS alarms. The app stores local alarm settings and the local AlarmKit identifier needed to update, stop, or cancel those alarms.

Alarm delivery and system alarm presentation are handled by iOS and AlarmKit. Apple's handling of iOS system services is governed by Apple's own privacy policies and settings.

Acordar does not request location, contacts, microphone, photo library, HealthKit, Bluetooth, or tracking permission in the current app.

Data Sharing

The current app does not transmit your Acordar app data to us or to third-party partners. We do not sell personal data. We do not share personal data for advertising or tracking.

If you contact us for support outside the app, we will receive the information you choose to send, such as your email address and message content, and will use it only to respond to your request unless we tell you otherwise.

Retention And Deletion

Local app data remains on your device until you delete it. You can delete Acordar's local alarms, wake attempts, and streak data from the app's Settings screen by using "Delete all data." This also cancels scheduled Acordar alarms where possible.

You can also remove local app data by uninstalling Acordar. Device backups may keep copies according to your Apple/iCloud backup settings, which Acordar does not control.

Children

Acordar is not directed to children under 13. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes To This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy if the app changes or legal requirements change. If we add accounts, analytics, crash reporting, backend services, advertising, subscriptions, or new permissions, this policy and the App Store privacy details should be reviewed and updated before release.
